| Résumé : |
For some, the introduction of artificial intelligence into our daily lives has completely transformed the world on a new scale. Artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics have become increasingly prominent topics in the press and academia. The pace of scientific and technological advancement has accelerated substantially. Scholars have become increasingly interested in the economic, social, and distributive implications of artificial intelligence, robotics, and other forms of automation.
The acceleration of innovations and emerging trends in the 21st century has led to their widespread application across numerous fields, boosting economic growth and development. The future of AI encompasses both physical and digital environments, as well as their practical applications. The AI market is flourishing day by day. Most artificial intelligence systems have the ability to learn, enabling people to improve their performance over time. Recent research on AI tools, including machine learning, deep learning, and predictive analytics, continues to advance planning, learning, reasoning, thinking, and decision-making.
The current book provides an introduction to artificial intelligence, robotics, and research streams examining the economic and organizational consequences of these and related technologies. It outlines research on artificial intelligence and robotics in the economics and management literature and summarizes the dominant approaches in this area.
Today, artificial intelligence is increasingly integrated into our daily lives through applications such as GPS navigation and check-scanning machines. The use of artificial intelligence in business contributes to the enhancement of various areas of everyday operations, including customer service, finance, sales and marketing, administration, and technical processes across different sectors.
Undoubtedly, over the next few years, digital initiatives will no longer remain isolated projects within companies. Instead, the adoption of technologies such as AI at all levels and across all business processes will become a reality, helping organizations increase their competitiveness.
This book also highlights the implications of artificial intelligence, robotics, and automation for organizational design and firm strategy. It argues for greater engagement with these topics by organizational and strategy researchers and outlines directions for future research.
Covering the theories and applications of robotics, technology, and artificial intelligence, from biomedical to space robotics, this book aims to provide students and practitioners with insight into emerging innovations through in-depth analysis and broad-ranging coverage.
Katarzyna Grondys, Assistant Professor, holds a PhD in Robotics and Automation Engineering. Her teaching interests include software engineering, computer engineering, and robotics. She has written several research papers and articles on artificial intelligence, digital image processing, and computer system performance modeling. |
